Ranked Basics

Ranked Mode uses LP (League Points) to determine your tier:

Rookie 0
Bronze 1,000
Silver 3,000
Gold 6,000
Platinum 10,000
Diamond 15,000
Master 20,000
Predator Top 750 players

How LP Works

LP gain: Based on placement AND kills

  • Win + 5 kills ≈ +140–200 LP
  • Top 5 + 2 kills ≈ +60–90 LP
  • Death early ≈ -50 LP (entry cost)

Entry cost: Increases per rank. Higher ranks cost more LP per game regardless of placement.

Ranked Mindset

Play for Placement

In Bronze–Gold: Focus on staying alive. Kills are secondary to surviving into the top 5.

Rotation discipline:

  • Don't fight every squad you see
  • Rotate before the ring traps you
  • Hot drop less frequently in ranked

When to Fight

Good fights to take:

  • Enemies damaged by another squad (vulture the fight)
  • 3rd party situations where you have advantage
  • Defending a good position against a squad rotating through

Fights to avoid:

  • Equal-or-worse position against a full-HP squad
  • Three-way fights where you're exposed on two sides
  • Any fight late in the game where survival > kills

Ranked LP Efficiency

A win with 1 kill is worth more LP than 3rd place with 5 kills.

Champion + 5 kills +200
2nd place + 0 kills +80
3rd place + 3 kills +50
10th place + 2 kills -20
15th place + 0 kills -50

Team Composition for Ranked

Consistent ranked teams have:

  • 1 mobility legend (Wraith, Valkyrie, Pathfinder)
  • 1 support (Lifeline, Newcastle)
  • 1 flex (any)
