Movement During Fights And Endgame
Combat movement should create better damage trades, not just look fast. Short shoulder peeks, reposition slides, side jumps, and fast layer swaps all help you break enemy tracking while keeping your own aim stable. Move enough to be hard to hit, but not so much that your own shots disappear.
In endgame, prioritize efficient low-profile movement that preserves builds, materials, and awareness while the circle collapses. Overmoving without a plan often turns into jumping in the open or dropping from cover at the worst time. Controlled movement keeps your crosshair useful and your survivability high at the same time.
- Reposition after each meaningful damage trade so the enemy cannot pre-aim the same corner.
- Use jumps sparingly in shotgun ranges because predictable jump arcs are easy to punish.
- Move with your team’s cover line in squads so one player is not isolated by speed alone.
- In moving zones, choose the simplest safe path rather than the flashiest mechanical route.
