Schedule I Quality Guide — Maximizing Product Quality for Higher Prices
What Affects Quality
Product quality in Schedule I is determined by:
- Effects count — more effects = higher quality rating
- Freshness — time since production
- Packaging — proper packaging maintains freshness
- Base strain/product — some variants have higher quality ceiling
Quality Ratings
| Rating | Effects | Freshness | Price Modifier |
|---|---|---|---|
| Poor | 0 | Stale | ×0.60 |
| Standard | 1 | Aging | ×0.85 |
| Good | 2 | Good | ×1.00 |
| Premium | 3 | Fresh | ×1.25 |
| Exceptional | 4+ | Fresh | ×1.50 |
Maximizing Quality
Step 1: Stack Effects
Aim for 3+ effects on every unit. The quality jump from 2→3 effects is larger than any other tier jump.
Step 2: Sell Fresh
Package immediately after mixing. Sell within 4 in-game hours. Never let packaged product sit overnight.
Step 3: Use Better Strains
OG Kush → Granddaddy Purple when available. GDP has a higher base quality ceiling and accepts more ingredient slots.
Step 4: Branded Packaging
Custom label packaging adds perceived quality bonus (+5–8% on top of freshness).
Quality and Customer Loyalty
Consistent high-quality product builds loyalty faster:
- Good quality → +1 loyalty per 5 purchases
- Premium quality → +1 loyalty per 3 purchases
- Exceptional → +1 loyalty per 2 purchases
Quality vs. Volume Tradeoff
For new customers: sell Good quality to build initial relationship.
For loyal customers: always sell Premium or Exceptional — they'll pay significantly more.
