Armor Types

Light Armor (Cloth)

• Defense: Low
• Agility: Full movement speed
• Temperature: Good for heat protection
• Best for: Desert biome, agility builds

Medium Armor (Leather / Iron Knuckle)

• Defense: Medium
• Agility: Slight movement penalty
• Best for: Balanced protection and mobility

Heavy Armor (Iron / Steel)

• Defense: High
• Agility: Significant movement penalty
• Best for: Horde defense, high-threat areas

Armor Sets

Iron Armor (Mid-Game)

• Craftable at Workbench
• Requires: Iron Ingots × 20 per piece
• Defense: Good against physical damage
• Craft priority: Chestplate first (most coverage)

Steel Armor (Late Game)

• Requires: Steel Ingots + Advanced crafting skills
• Defense: Best armor in game
• Full set crafting is expensive — prioritize piece by piece

Helmet Priority

Head damage multiplier is 2× — always prioritize helmet:

1. Any helmet better than no helmet
2. Upgrade material quality (scrap → iron → steel)
3. Add Fortifying mods for extra protection

Armor Repair

Armor degrades over time. Repair with:

• Same material as the armor type
• Repair Kit (universal)

Don't let armor reach 0 — it loses its bonus entirely.
