Minecraft Boss Guide — How to Beat All Bosses

Elder Guardian

Location: Ocean Monument (deep ocean biome)
Health: 80 HP
Attacks: Laser beam, Mining Fatigue curse

Preparation:

• Potion of Water Breathing (3+ minutes)
• Potion of Night Vision
• Full iron armor minimum

Strategy:

1. Approach monument from above
2. Clear guardians blocking entrance
3. Three Elder Guardians inside — kill one room at a time
4. Attack with sword when laser charges up (they stop moving)
5. Mining Fatigue will slow your sword; use potions to counter

Drops: Wet sponges, prismarine, sea lantern, fish

Wither

Summoned: 3 Wither Skull blocks on top of 4 Soul Sand/Soil (T-shape)
Health: 300 HP
Attacks: Explosive skulls, Wither effect (HP drain)

Preparation:

• Enchanted diamond/netherite armor with Protection IV
• Healing potions or golden apples
• Enchanted bow with Power V

Strategy:

1. Summon underground — reduces area destruction
2. Initial star explosion when spawned — get away for first 2 seconds
3. Below 50% HP: immune to arrows (melee only)
4. Use Strength II potion for melee phase
5. Milk cancels the Wither effect

Drops: Nether Star → craft into Beacon

Ender Dragon

Location: The End dimension
Health: 200 HP
Attacks: Dragon Breath, melee charge, explosions

Preparation:

• Full enchanted diamond armor
• Bow with Power V + Infinity
• Many arrows (or Infinity enchant)
• Blocks for bridging

Strategy:

1. Destroy all End Crystals on obsidian pillars (they regenerate Dragon's HP)
2. Shoot crystals in cages: climb pillars and break directly
3. When Dragon perches on fountain: attack head with sword
4. Avoid Dragon Breath (purple mist on ground)
5. When it flies: shoot with bow

Drops: 70 XP levels, dragon egg, exit portal

Raid (Not a Boss, but Boss-Level Event)

Trigger: Enter village with Bad Omen effect
Waves: 7 waves of Pillagers, Vindicators, Ravagers, Evokers

Strategy:

• Iron Golem helps — keep village golems alive
• Evoker is highest priority (spawns deadly Vexes)
• After all waves: Hero of the Village effect + totem of undying drops
