Schedule I Territory Expansion Guide — Capturing New Zones
How Territory Works
Hyland Point is divided into zones. Each zone has:
- A customer population (potential buyers)
- A rival gang (if applicable)
- Police patrol intensity
- Revenue potential
Controlling a zone means your dealers operate there freely.
Expanding to a New Zone
Step 1: Scout
Walk through the zone and identify:
- Customer NPCs present
- Gang activity level
- Police frequency
Step 2: Establish Presence
Place a dealer in the zone. Initial sales will be contested by rivals.
Step 3: Eliminate Competition
Rival dealers in the zone will undercut you. Options:
- Out-price them: Sell at lower margin temporarily
- Out-quality them: Stack more effects, rivals can't match
- Direct conflict: Higher-risk option with faster results
Step 4: Lock In Customers
Once rivals are gone, build loyalty with zone customers. They become your base.
Zone Priority
| Zone Type | Revenue Potential | Risk |
|---|---|---|
| Residential | Medium | Low |
| Commercial district | High | Medium |
| College area | Medium | Low |
| Industrial | Medium-High | Medium |
| Wealthy neighborhood | Very High | High |
Start with residential → commercial → wealthy as your operation grows.
Rival Gangs
Each rival gang has a territory threshold. Push too hard too fast and they respond aggressively. Expand at a pace your dealer protection can handle.
Multi-Zone Management
At 3+ zones, you need:
- At least 2 dealers per zone
- Regular supply runs to each property
- A stash point in each zone for dealer refills
